Introduction to Spinning
(Estimated time is 1.5 hours)
Join Mireille from Fluer De Fibres and learn about the animal and plant fibres used in making yarn, explore different fibre preparation techniques and get hands-on experience with using drop spindles and spinning wheels to spin your own yarn! Perfect for all skill levels.
Tickets are $25 and all materials are included, though participants can pre-order a kit for an additional $40 if they would like a Turkish drop spindle and 50g of fibre to take home.
