About the event
Filet crochet is a traditional crochet method that combines open mesh with closed mesh to create images in the fabric. In this class you will learn the required techniques, including how to read filet crochet patterns, how to properly tension your stitches, how to finish and block your work, and everything you'll need to move onto larger projects like garments and shawls. There are loads of free patterns, including vintage patterns, available online! Some links from Ravelry.com are included below.
*This class is for folks who already know the double crochet and chain stitches, and are looking to advance their skills to the next level.
All materials are included in the ticket price, and you will receive a kit to take home!
